In the dark cellars of the House of Metaxa in Attica, Greece, the climatic conditions are different from those that prevail where most of other spirits come from. Humidity is low and temperatures are moderate all year round. These conditions have a specific effect on the evaporation of the spirit. Angels in Greece take a bigger share of water and leave behind them a real treasure: a blend more concentrated and more intense in aromas.
